Wow, these are the best cupcakes ever. I visited Houston in April 2009 and the best thing I did was going to CRAVE'S. I bought 1 of each and they were all fantastic. If you like sweets you have to try these. I promise yo will not be disappointed.
They are so good and come in so many different flavors. I like to bring them to school to share with other teachers. They were a big hit at our Superbowl party too! Empolyees there are so friendly and ready to serve. A very enjoyable place to go.
Our family visits Crave Cupcakes at least once a week - that's how much we love them. And whenever we have an event or party to attend, we no longer bring a bottle of wine or anything else. We bring Crave Cupcakes! First of all, I have had every cupcake from San Fran to LA to New York -- and I can easily say that Houston has the best cupcakery in the country. I'm serious, that's how good Crave is. The bakery is beautiful and modern, the staff is ridiculously friendly and sweet, and their attention to detail is spot-on. You can tell there's a lot of pride in what they do and how they do it. It's worth every penny and the cupcakes are simply to die-for!
Amazing! The cupcakes are not the biggest in Houston or with the most icing....thank goodness. Crave's flavor makes up for the size! Told some of the recipes are family "hand me downs" with no shortcuts taken. Buttercream icing to die for, smooth, creamy and delicious. No shortening yuck stuck in your mouth. Red Velvet oh my, Lemon yummy and not overpowering, White cake with coconut is sinful. Strawberry with real berry inside the cake. I live in Katy and drive in just to go to Crave. Family owned and operated business; staff very friendly. Puts all other cupcake places to shame...LA. included. Can you drive and eat at the same time?
They are amazingly tasty. I went there with my family after Hurricane Ike just to get out of the house. Most of the city didn't have power but I heard that the Galleria area did. So we got some dinner and popped in for dessert. We ended up taking a box home with us. It made for good memories during a hard time.
These are the absolute best cupcakes I have ever eaten. Get there early before the selection is gone. The cupcakes seem to be freshest before 3:00 PM. Happy Eating.
