maddi & company was formed from a meemees luv for her her premature grand daughter. maddi was born with a cleft pallet and needed surgery when she was just weeks old. nurses couldnt stand and comfort her 24/7 and her pacifier would often fall out of her mouth. her meemee saw the need for something to help hold the pacifier in her mouth and with a stroke of genius decided to sew a pacifier onto the nose of a soft cuddly dog.
