Good place, good wines, but standing in line to get to the bar to pay 15$ for a glass of wine is ridiculous!!! And worse, seeing all those people standing in line to pay that much for a glass of wine is worse!!! lol!
There is a Tasting Room for all tastes-the in crowd at Uptown Park, laid back and pet friendly in mid town and more intimate and quiet in River Oaks. Great wine and tasty food and a central place to meet your friends, sit outside and contemplate the meaning of life.....which, of course, has to include good wine:-)
One of the best places in town to relax. Great friendly people and atmosphere. The live music is great.

I love how the staff can explain wine tastes to me, and help me pick the best wines for a special occasion. And they do not push the most expensive selections! That's integrity.
Great Boutique wine store with a wide selection of wines! You can find wines here that you can't find anywhere else. If you are a wine aficionado go to the Reserve Room at Uptown...you will not be disappointed. The wine list is impressive to say the least and they actually have a full food menu that rivals the best restaurants in Houston. Also, you get your very own Sommelier who can tell you a story about every wine on the list. He will personally guide you through the list telling little anecdotes along the way. The Reserve Room is truly a unique experience. Everytime I go there I learn something new and find my new favorite bottle. The best part is if you don't finish the bottle they will recork it and let you take it home! This place beats Spec's and other wine stores any day!
Great prices, atmosphere and wine selection. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Each location is unique and has its own personality making it a great place for all. If you like people watching and an extensive wine list go to Uptown Park. If you prefer a more quiet setting go to River Oaks or Midtown-the staff is personable and will help you find what you are looking for.
It is the best place for retail wine at a great price, you can also drink wine there and take home what you don't finish. Wonderful food, wonderful service, I go there all the time! Also, if you drink a bottle there and decide to take one home, you get 10% off of both! Awesome!
